Voting by mail
No excuse required — all registered Michigan voters have the right to vote by mail with an absentee ballot (available 40 days before the election). Online/mailed applications must reach your clerk by 5 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2026; in-person applications at the clerk's office until 4 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2026; Election Day registrants may vote absentee in person at the clerk's office.
