The incident occurred when two individuals, one wearing a ski mask, entered a gas station and began stealing merchandise. The clerk chased the suspects, leading to a fight, and was shot in the stomach.
The 46-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment. As of late Saturday night, the suspects were still at large.
