A little free library has been vandalized twice this year, with handmade doors being broken. The library, which holds free books for children, was first targeted last week Tuesday when the red door was broken. Vandals struck again on Sunday.

The steward of the library found the damage difficult to accept, particularly as the door was handmade and had been replaced recently. Volunteers are already working on repairs and plan to continue their mission.

Further details on the incident and the investigation by South Lyon police are available, including a video report by Christiana Ford. Cameras in the park may aid the investigation.
