A development team has started discussions about a major project. The team, which includes General Motors and Bedrock, is planning to remake a complex and surrounding land. The project's cost is estimated to be around $1.6 billion.

Community meetings are being held to gather feedback from residents. Nearly a dozen meetings are planned through the end of October.
