A resident named Christopher Lompra took it upon himself to care for a male pig by leaving food and water under a tree. This pig had been roaming the area with a female pig. The female pig was caught at one point, but then released.

People in the neighborhood had been trying to figure out what to do about the two pigs. They even started recording interactions with the animals, during which the pigs allowed themselves to be petted.
