Greektown is now open for business after a major streetscape update. The historic district has undergone significant renovations, including the addition of new amenities. A section of Monroe Street has reopened to pedestrians, featuring wider sidewalks, outdoor seating, and improved lighting and landscaping.

The $20 million project has been underway for over a year and a half, causing strain on the business district. However, progress is being made, with work on a second block of Monroe substantially complete. The full project is expected to be finished by mid-November.
