Fall turkey and small game hunting seasons are starting. The seasons include hunting for cottontail rabbit, ruffed grouse, squirrels, and woodcock. Turkey hunting will run from September 15 through November 14.

Hunters are required to have an annual base license and a fall turkey license. They must also report their harvest within 72 hours.

Further details on the seasons, including license quotas and specific season dates, are available from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
