A food safety alert has been issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention due to a multistate Salmonella outbreak. The outbreak is linked to recalled jalapeño peppers imported from Mexico and distributed by a company. In total, 345 people across 27 states have been infected, including some in Michigan.
