A 100-year-old fire truck built in Michigan will participate in the Woodward Dream Cruise. The truck, a REO Speedwagon, was previously used in Canada. It will be driven down Woodward Avenue with American and Canadian flags displayed.

The fire truck has been restored and is considered a family heirloom by its owner, Sam Girimonte. It has appeared at the Dream Cruise six times before, and this year's event will mark its seventh appearance. Further details about the fire truck and its history are available from WXYZ Channel 7, including a report by Jeffrey Lindblom.
